A story about loss, hope, and a car ?

Volvo wanted more than a campaign—they wanted a story that echoed their deepest values: resilience, sustainability, and human connection. Our challenge? Translate that into something real, emotional, and unmistakably Volvo. The result was a cinematic journey through Swedish Lapland—a raw, honest portrait of rediscovery and renewal.

From cold landscapes to warm storytelling

We traveled to Kiruna, deep in the heart of Arctic Sweden, to film a story about finding light in the darkest of times. Against the stark beauty of snow, ice, and silence, we captured a personal journey of healing—one that mirrored Volvo’s own brand promise: “on the road to a better future.” Every scene was crafted with intention, balancing aesthetic minimalism with emotional depth.

This film was shot entirely in Kiruna

One campaign, endless emotional impact

The final film, Rebirth, became more than just content—it became a statement. Critics praised its emotional honesty and cinematic visuals, while audiences connected deeply with its message. The campaign elevated Volvo’s image as a brand that doesn’t just sell cars—it shares values and moves people.

A strategy-first approach

We grounded the concept in Volvo’s brand DNA: safety, care, and progress. From there, we built narrative arcs and content pillars like emotional resilience, Scandinavian design, and human connection. Every creative choice—from casting to location to score—served both the story and the strategy.

A production that embraced the elements

This wasn’t your average car shoot. Sub-zero temps, limited daylight, and frozen roads challenged every part of production—but made every frame more authentic. We embraced the elements, knowing that the setting would become a character in its own right. The result? A story that felt lived, not staged.

Whats next.
